MLEEP Reviews: My Little Pony - Equestria Girls: Forgotten Friendship

Written By Nick Confalone, this could easily be the best thing that we have gotten in the Equestria Girls franchise since 'Rainbow Rocks'!
It really showed how far Sunset Shimmer has come since we first got to know her back in the first movie and I loved how they showed that she can still grow and develop as a character even after her the song goes, 'we're not flawless...we're works in progress-we've got dents and we've got quirks, but it's our flaws that make us work'. I also love how she was able to find common ground with both Trixie who has also gone down a similar path that Sunset did with her egotistical behavior as well as our newbie villain Wallflower Blush-nice touch at giving us an introverted villain this time, Hasbro!
And you know what the funny thing is? As I watched this special and thought back on all that has happened in the Equestria Girls franchise these past five years, this special honestly felt like this was the final chapter for Sunset Shimmer's story arc from raging she-demon to natural leader as well as for the Equestria Girls franchise since they could've ended the series right here and I think everypony would agree that it was a very worthwhile conclusion...but nope, we still have one more special left and I look forward to seeing what the team at Hasbro and DHX Media come up with next.
'My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic' may soon be coming to an end, but I can guarantee 'Equestria Girls' will be a spin-off that will never be forgotten...things may come and things may go, some go fast and some go slow, few things last-that's all I know, but friendship carries on through the ages
